Hang in there... we're doing a little construction and will be up soon! In the meantime:
While most of our event concepts are developed in-house, we do accept consulting contracts and can provide a full range of event production services. Our expertise is in music-oriented nightlife events and fundraising events for non-profits.
From BOA’s humble beginnings running a bi-monthly lesbian party at Beijing’s premiere gay club to promoting for some of the world’s top DJs, BOA Events clawed it’s way to the top of Beijing’s nightlife in just a few short years. BOA Events has always been about top quality on a shoestring budget, creating unforgettable experiences without breaking the bank. Our honest and thorough service gained us recognition with China’s best nightclubs and led us to work with embassies and corporate clients to produce some of China’s most groundbreaking events. Events produced in China include: I Love EU: Electronic Music Festival in honor of the European Union's 50th Anniversary (10 artists from 6 EU countries, 2 cities, sponsored by 7 embassies and 5 corporations), Electrocution (one of Beijing's first regular electro nights), The Pinker Tones China Tour (2006), Addicted to Fiction China Tour (2006), Intercom China Tour (2006), DJ Ipek Tour China (2005 and 2007) and promotions/marketing for Beijing's premier nightlife venues Banana and Coco Banana with top 100 DJs such as John Digweed, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Deep Dish, Armin van Buuren and more.
BOA relocated to Los Angeles in 2007. In addition to promoting various events in the L.A. area, in fall 2009 BOA produced an original event series Rise&Fall; an art and music exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Rise&Fall featured art from about 100 artists interpreting the theme 'bringing down walls'. The art was displayed on Kodak picture frames and was accompanied by the music of Turkish-German 'barrier-transcender' DJ Ipek Ipekcioglu. Rise&Fall toured 10 cities (from L.A. to Boston) in 3 weeks and earned space in the Boston Globe, Washington Post, Miami New Times, Village Voice, LA Weekly and on PRI's "The World" amongst dozens of other press outlets.
BOA was also contracted to produce BOOM! 2008: Outfest Music Festival and, in the same year, produced a few shows for touring acts. BOA has collaborated with Kodak, The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, The German Consulates in L.A., New York, Miami and Boston, Goethe Institute L.A., German Embassy Beijing, Instituto Cervantes, British Council China, Italian Embassy Beijing, Austrian Embassy Beijing, The Minsheng Bank, Austrian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and many more. We honestly couldn't produce cultural-based music and art events without these partners; we genuinely thank them for their generous support.
